As we head into the second half of the season Boston, Houston and Cleveland are the American league front runners..

The Yankees faltered in their last 25 games sending them 3.5 games out and tied for 2nd in the AL East with the Rays behind Boston.. I selected Baltimore to win the AL East but as we can see they are in trouble and need to make some moves if they expect to get back in the race.. At this point I have to go with Boston to win the East..

I did have Cleveland winning the AL Central and they do have a 2.5 game lead over the Twins and a 3 game lead over the Royals who have played solid ball of late and got back in the race.. Its far from over but I still feel the Tribe will take the AL Central

From day one I said Houston will run away with the AL West and they have so far holding a 16.5 game lead over the Angels and Rangers who are tied for second..  No one will catch the Astros..

My pick was and still is Houston to represent the American League in the World Series..
