The week prior to the 2001 Football Season my wife Jamie and I had a fight over something stupid but she flew back to New Jersey to visit her mom, I am pleased to say that was our last war of words..

 It was now time to record our 1st radio show that would air in over 30 cities across the nation on Saturdays and Sundays, my boss John was nervous because he was spending 25k a week and was worried that he would be wasting a lot of cash..

 The first show would air at 8 am but I was running late due to traffic and did not arrive until 8:15 or so.. When I got out of my car John came running towards me with a huge grin on his face.. The phones were going crazy and he was amazed by how many calls we got in only 15 minutes, John was no longer worried about doing the show or investing 25k a week...

 By the end of our first day we signed up over 100 new members and brought in almost 50k in business.. After 1 full week we generated over 250k between us and we were just getting started..

I was very happy but I was missing my wife who was not coming back until Sept 11th which she did not due to the terror attacks! I remember that day very clearly as we were about to record our 2nd show.. Our producer was a pilot and was showing us photos of his new plane and was also talking about JFK JR and shared his thoughts about why he crashed, etc...

After our first commercial break Brian (The Producer) told us that a plane just crashed into one of the towers, we all said "WOW" what a crazy coincidence since we were just talking about plane crashes..

We started recording the second segment when Brian opened his mic and said guys we have to stop the show, the second tower was hit and that we are at war! We were all in shock and quickly left the studio to get back to our homes to watch the news.. First thing I did was call Jamie but I could not get through to her or anyone in Jersey.. I was watching the news as the other attacks took place and was somewhat in shock but more worried about Jamie as she was to fly out of Newark that day to come back to Florida... Later in the day Jamie did call me which was a huge relieve knowing she was safe but would not be flying home due to the attacks and air space being shut down..

As we know all games were canceled that week so our 2nd show did not air and we closed the office down until the following Monday..

On a Tuesday we went back to the studio to cut another show and Jamie also was flying home later that day.. It was time to get back to business and making money.. Like the 1st show the 2nd show kicked ass and we doubled our week 1 profits by generating almost 500k and the new accounts kept pouring in... This was the start of a money making machine and a lot of .... "HUGE EGO's"
